Yes. Street parking is available along Park Avenue and surrounding blocks. Surface lots and parking garages are nearby. The nearby garage on Canton Avenue (behind Panera Bread) is free and only steps away. The SunTrust parking garage on New England Avenue is also free on weekends. . We’re in the heart of the walkable district wherever you park, the stroll over is part of the experience.
Friendly dogs are welcome on our outdoor patio. Park Avenue is one of Winter Park’s most dog-friendly streets, and we love that our guests bring their four-legged companions along for the morning. Look for the pink water bowl with fresh water for our four legged friends!
Our menu runs all day from breakfast and brunch through the afternoon and into the evening. Whether you’re starting your morning with a pour over and pastry or ending a Park Avenue evening with a slice of cake, there’s always something worth staying for.
Real art, intentionally chosen. The standout is Dessert Skirt Blue & White (2013), a Will Cotton lithograph: five feet tall, hand-colored on pigmented handmade paper, signed by the artist.
Cotton is a blue-chip American painter who builds elaborate sets from real baked goods and confectionery, then paints them from life. The Hudson River School in dessert form. He’s also the artist behind Katy Perry’s California Gurls video and her Teenage Dream album cover.
When we set out in 2017, we knew dessert deserved the perfect coffee. So we traveled the country tasting the best roasters we could find.
The first sip at Onyx Coffee Lab’s roastery in Bentonville, Arkansas was the one. We met the team that day. The match was obvious. They live by a phrase we recognized in ourselves: Never Settle for Good Enough.
We’ve poured Onyx exclusively at The Glass Knife since day one. As a long-standing partner, Onyx grants us regional exclusivity, so you won’t find their beans poured by anyone else nearby. We’ve traveled to Colombia with them to see how they work with their farmers and the relationships they build around the world.
Every bag of Onyx is shipped with the producer’s name, the price paid, and the score. Scan the batch code and you can see the exact roast profile of the coffee in your cup. That kind of transparency is rare in this industry. So is the partnership.
More than you can fit in one visit. The Morse Museum, the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour, and on Saturday’s don’t miss the Winter Park Farmers’ Market. Some of our favorite shops are also nearby including Lululemon and Williams-Sonoma (we can spend all day in there!). Stop in for breakfast or brunch, or grab a coffee to enjoy as you stroll the avenue.
